Recommendations for Scalable Fleet Software for Growing Operations?

    Hey everyone,

We're currently managing a small fleet of 15 vehicles, but we're expecting that to double within the next year. We're looking for fleet management software that can scale efficiently as we grow—something that covers maintenance tracking, fuel management, driver logs, GPS integration, and ideally some automation features.

A key requirement is scalable fleet software that can grow with us without major overhauls. We'd prefer a cloud-based solution with good reporting tools and mobile access. Bonus points for solid customer support and easy onboarding.

What are you all using, and how has it handled expansion? Any tips?

We don't have any company vehicles for techs, but I'm curious what vehicles do you have? We've been pushing for company vehicles for a while, and just curious what other dealers use.

        Huh ???
In France (and I guess Europe), the standard vehicle for a technician is the Renault Kangoo or equivalent (I can only find the RAM ProMaster City for USA).

Decades ago, yes, we did. It got to the point where there was too much upkeep and accidents that they just pay us per mile instead to use our own vehicle. We don't love it, that's for sure.

I'm pretty sure it's illegal in France, the employer must provide the tools for the employees, the vehicle is a tool (service vehicle or company vehicle is another debate).
Car, insurance and fuel are paid for by the employer.

We use them for our delivery vehicles and techs vehicles. Small devices plugs into the OBD port. It has a lot of reporting we don't use. The people that do dispatch have a live view of all vehicles on a sperate monitor on their desk. We have monitor above the screen where techs pull service calls so they can see if another tech is near a new call. Another large monitor hangs on the wall that everyone can see and it is located in a area of the builing people walk by all the time. We have all our accounts geofenced. Tech support has been very good.
