Microsoft to Deprecate NT LAN Manager in Windows 11

Microsoft has announced several new security features to strengthen Windows 11, including deprecating the NT LAN Manager (NTLM).

It's good to see Microsoft finally killing off some of these old features that have hung around just because of them being hesitant to remove something that could break legacy apps in enterprise environments. That hesitation has been the cause of so many vulnerabilities that have required workarounds and fixes that make exploits harder to use without fixing the long term problem.

Will this affect older generations such as the BH-C-284e series?
