    Ricoh Device Manager NX Lite

On newly installed Device Manager NX Lite in discovery option I entered an IP range to search but got an error 641 - there are no newly discovered devices.
If I manually go to add device and enter fixed IP address of a machine I get an error 650 - other system error, check that the system setting of Device Manager NX is properly configured.
This happens with default SNMP setting v1/v2. If I change to SNMP v3 and enter the IP of a machine then I get error 200 - no response from the device.

I can ping any machine from the PC and access it through Web Image Monitor. I can also ping the PC from a machine. But Device Manager cannot find any machines.
    Any ideas?

    follow up....
Have run network discovery several times and eventually it found several Ricoh and HP machines on my floor but none on other floors in the building. A few minutes later I run Polling, and the program again cannot access these machines on my floor????

Must have been a network issue as everything is working OK today.

This is the most awful piece of software of all time. SDM was so much easier to use, although DMNX-L is a bit more powerful if you can work the bugger out!

It is almost as if they wrote it with the sole purpose of making HP Web Jet Admin seem usable.

I'll never understand how companies who can make solid software for their hardware can't write support tools for toffee
