ricoh mp 3351 wia driver setup

I have checked the support website for ricoh wia driver. I see wia drivers for other machines but none for the mp 3351. There is a software package for windows 7 that is asking for it. Does anyone know how to get wia driver setup working for ricoh machine on windows 7. ricoh mp 3351. do I need a firmware update or anything like that... please advise at your earliest convenience....

I would try the TWAIN driver; backwards compatibility is supposed to be supported with WIA.

I believe that WIA is not supported on this model. The first 33 ppm machine with WIA drivers is the 3352.

found an opensource program wia on twain.... it basically allows you to build a wia driver that uses twain as its source... it requires a lot of detail but thankfully they have a nice walkthrough included in the zip...
