    [Error Code] Canon IRC2380

    Customer had Canon IRC2380 shown error E20-200 as manual said this error related density value of patch for Yellow is lower than the lower limit.
    when print PG 10 test page shown no yellow, I replaced the yellow drum it was ok but after one week the problem occur again.

    Any ideas.

      PG5 single YELLOW is coming out blank
      Test Print PG10 is also coming out blank in the areas where yellow should be.

      Make sure the drum drive and developer drive are operating correctly

      Is YELLOW on ITB BELT ?
      Is Yellow on Drum ?? before Transfer

      Only one color is blank, there is the possibility it is due to faulty laser unit, hence replace it with a new one.
      Laser may not be firing yellow.
      Replace the Laser with Part Number: (FM3-0003-000).

      After replacing the laser unit, register the value written in the label packaged with the scanner unit in the following service mode, and adhere the label in the front cover.

      - COPIER > Adjust > LASER > FSLUT-Y1 to Y8
      - COPIER > Adjust > LASER > FSLUT-M1 to M8
      - COPIER > Adjust > LASER > FSLUT-C1 to C8
      - COPIER > Adjust > LASER > FSLUT-K1 to K8
      **Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**

          Thank you for you replay but I think the laser is OK because when I replaced Yellow drum with new one Yellow color shown in PG10 but after a while the E20-200 Shown again.

              Is YELLOW on ITB BELT ? ----------------------secondary transfer bias is used to transfer toner from the ITB to paper.
              Is Yellow on Drum ?? --------------primary transfer bias is used to transfer toner from the surface of the photosensitive drum to the ITB.

              before Transfer
