I have a 6570 copier go with the 602-001 error. Because I can not find the file anywhere to format the disk and fix it? A site that would make me recommend me please where you can download. I have the service and support tool, better if it were free.

e602-0001= (BOOTDEV) issue---The HDD is not recognized.
At start-up, the start-up partition (BOOTDEV) is not found.
1. Turn off the power, and check the HDD cable for disconnection; then, turn the power back on.
2. Turn on the power, and put your ear or finger against the HDD to see if the disk inside it is rotating.
3. Replace the HDD.
4. Replace the main controller PCB.


did u try a defrag > hold down 1 and 9 on the key pad and power up the ImageRUNNER.
---small white flashing square will appear in the upper left corner of the Control Panel LCD display then drop down to the bottom of the LCD.
Another white square will appear at the top and then drop down. Gradually, the white squares will form rows and convert the LCD display to white.
It will take 20 to 30 minutes for the Hard Drive to defrag.
When the Hard Drive defrag is finished, DOWNLOAD mode will appear on the LCD display. At that time, power off the ImageRUNNER then turn the ImageRUNNER back on.
May get Lucky ?

Format file is in iR6570 Firmware > u registered into SST.

probably a waste of time to Format that HDD with SST>
95% of e602 codes require a new/refurbished HDD > u then Format it inside & load Firmware
