Canon scanner Dr 6030c wont feed help

    Hi Folks,
I vivited a cust with a Canon DR 6030c scanner that doesnt even try to feed the paper, I noticed the feeder roller was lower poistion. I removed cover, an spun motor by hand, for the pick up roller where it should be in the "up" position. I checked to see that all the feed rollers were turning, not binding..has anyone replaced the feed motor/board..?
I'm new to this machine so looking for experienced folks..even better if so, would anyone have part number, or part to sell ..??
    Thanks,
    Jaime

Do The Pickup Rollers retract when the machine is powered on.

The Stopper Plates are also in the down position.
The Feed Selection Lever is in the correct position (up) for separation.

In this case, entering the Service Tool program and activating all the components resolved the issue.
In the tool, all the sensors activated correctly and the tech was able to run the Main Motor, Eject Motor, Pickup Motor, Regist Clutch, and Feed Clutch with no problem.

After exiting the Service Tool and powering the scanner Off/On, everything worked properly.

    Feed Roller will
    Not Lower to the Paper.

In a few cases the Worm Gear on the motor was not making constant contact with the gear for the Feed Roller.

By loosening the screws for the motor and then tighten them again the scanner worked properly.

-----Paper does not feed. The pickup and feed rollers do not rotate.

ensure that the belts and gears driven by the motor are normal.

what exactly is happening on power on ?

Re: Canon scanner Dr 6030c wont feed help

after power up, the pick up rollers dont even try to spin, I turned drive belt by hand to check for any binds, then turned it to get pick up roller in home position(up). I re seated motor connector, that didnt help. I should have removed motor an then re power to see if motor tries to turn, but I dont think it does, didnt hear anything from that motor. I'm guessing the motor should spin after power up, when you try to scan via computer, it just sits there...no error code comes up, or paper jam notice. I ordered a motor, only $50.00, but if that doesnt work, any ideas..?
