First set of cartridges comes with 90 ml, so it is normal to see 60% after ink installation.

As for resolution - the PF04 print head is capable of producing 1200 dpi.

I have sold more than 50 pieces - very rarely I have had issues.

    Peace...

Like all ink based machines, you have to use it, keep the ink flowing. It has to be ON so it can purge.

Most of the calls have been for head replacement, usually as the result of low usage, seasonal usage, or just letting it set for a month unused or OFF.

And never never never use the crappy generic ink. The few dollars you save will very quickly be consumed when the machine sucks up the entire ink cartridge and dumps it in the the maintenance cartridge.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Yes, in the print drivers: Image selected you get Fast (300dpi) Standard (600dpi) and High (600dpi) if you select Line Drawing/Text you get Fast (300dpi) Fast (600dpi) Standard (600dpi) High (600dpi) and finally High (1200dpi) very odd, but whatever.

With the m40 scanner, there is a magnetic guide. Well the guide can only "magnet" the right half the scanner platten because there is not a metal stip on the underside the other half the scanner.
        Is this normal???
I called the seller who basically saod it was a "left/right justify international machine" sounded like total BS, but I just let it go for that call becuase I needed the scanner callibration sheet first (wasnt packed with printer).
