    Canon imageCLASS mf414dw

    I have a customer's MF414 printing black pages. This happens even when printing from the printer menu without a PC attached. I feel like it's a sensor or board issue but I cannot find a service manual that will actually give me parts break downs and trouble shooting steps. The "Service Manual" I did find is actually just a Service Guide and is of no real help with this issue.

    Anyone with experience with this model?

      Could be a bad earth. Start by replacing the toner cartridge especially if the one installed is not a genuine Canon.

          Installed new Canon toner cartridge - same issue.
