Ir adv c3525 swapping main controllers

Hi all. Does anyone know if I can fit a used main controller (gen I) into another machine? Or does it have to be new?
I know I need to keep the small removable boards tmp etc with the original m/c

You can swap the controllers of a Gen I or Gen II machine into another Gen I or Gen II machine. You can swap Gen III controllers into other Gen III machines and you can swap controllers only to machine with the same printing speed. IR ADV C3525i to iR ADV C3525i or C3530i to C3530i.

CAUTION:
When replacing the Main Controller PCB, transfer the following parts from the old PCB to the new PCB.
• FLASH PCB
• TPM PCB
• Memory PCB

Otherwise the host machine does not start up normally and may become unrecoverable in some cases.
