[Misc] Philips or Pozidriv used in Canons

    Hi,
A potential dumb question warning ;-)
I am a veteran coming back into the industry with a Ricoh background and have to tool up again and will now be working on Canons.
I asked another tech who use to work on them about the screws and in passing I said they would be Philips (PH2) wouldn't they and he said no Pozidriv.

So which is it? Ricoh uses the JIS JS2 which looks like a Philips but with a dot.

I haven't seen Pozidriv in use in office equipment in the last 30 years, well the brands I have been working on anyway. With the exception of a GBC Stream Punch... maybe.... the festering pile of fetid dingo kidneys those things are.

Are there any other specialty type tools required? I have the basics.

    Thanks in advance

All I use is #2 Phillips. On most of the cover screws, you can also use a 5.5mm nut driver.
