Setup 2 Factor Authentication under Gmail and put in the password and it works. Been doing this for a month.

Make sure the DNS setting are correct and verify. Also try inputting the IP address of the SMTP server. Had to do that sometimes.

If you have a customer who uses a gmail account and most of their employees also use gmail, it might be a good idea to have them change to Google Workspace. It gives them a custom company domain and the look and feel is identical to the Google Desktop currently used for gmail. It also allows the Workspace administrator to setup Google's SMTP relay service to use an IP address to authenticate That address can be the public address of the company's internet modem which authenticates all MFP on the local network. One restriction, each sender is limited as to 10,000 emails a day can be sent. Send email from a printer, scanner, or app - Google Workspace Admin Help

Some are still running hit and miss using port 25. Just setup a gmail account app password with 2 step verification and use port 587 and TLS authentication. Make sure firmware on machine is up to date

Users who use email clients (Outlook, Thunderbird...) too, or am I misunderstood you?If so, then the problems begin, for my xD.
I'm reading the link about google's SMTP server settings, but I'm concerned that it doesn't mention anything about the IMAP, do you know if there are also problems?
