Title : E302-0001 Error Code

Error : Error code E302-0001 is occurring intermittently when copying or scanning to e-mail. The definition of the E302-0001 is an error in paper front shading. The sub code of 0001, pertains to the Scanner Unit in the Reader (under the platen glass). If the sub code was 0101, it would indicate a problem with the Scanner in the Document Feeder. Workaround : Check the scanner mirrors are clean. Check the connections of the flat cable from the Scanner unit to the Reader Controller. The flat cable has often been shown to be the cause of the error. If reseating the cable does not clear the error, the cable and , or the Scanner Unit may need to be replaced. Flat Cable Unit FM0-0482-000 Scanner Unit, Reader FM1-B001-000 Follow the procedure regarding replacement of the Scanner Unit in the Duplex Color Image Reader-G1 Service Manual.

I did changed the scanner unit, before i bought the unit, it tested on seller machine and it works fine.
and i tried swap my scanner unit to their machine, the lamp is lights on like normal.
maybe flat cable unit was broke?
Another suggestion?thanks for advice btw

Error : Error code E302-0001 occurs after boot up of machine. Error Clear in service mode was tried. The CCD/Scanner unit and ribbon cable for the Reader unit was replaced. RCON Clear in service mode was tried. The Reader Controller PCB was replaced. Machine was dirty, optics were cleaned, Copy Board glass & Read Glass were cleaned - both sides. All four DF White Level adjustments in service mode came up OK. Workaround : For this case, the White Platen Roller in the Document Feeder for the Reader Unit Read Glass was very dirty. Cleaning the DADF White Platen Roller thoroughly resolved the service issue of error code E302-0001 occurring after boot up of the machine.

Actually my DADF is broken long time ago, so i unplugged all 3 dadf socket flex cable on reader controller, is it problem?

nb: the error appears not after boot up, everything fine after boot up, but i said, scanner lamp didnt lights up, and error appears when i tried to make a copy

Just try another reader board sometimes it has been the issue

Just try another reader board sometimes it has been the issue
