    c3525 II admin password

Can't get past admin user name and password.

I've upgraded firmware through service mode updater. Did a PWD-CLR and MMI clear in service mode multiple times (before and after firmware update) - no fix. Settings are all cleared (at least the ones I can get to), but it doesn't accept the 7654321 code input in both fields like every other machine I've worked on.

One thing I did notice, is a small lock icon on the control panel next to the status monitor icon in bottom left corner. pic attached.

I'd rather not have to reset DCCon or MNCon if I don't have to.

    Any suggestions?

Also, just got this in from a wholesaler with only 15K on it....looks practically new. No history on it, but no error codes in history, just a few adf jams.

The lock symbol indicates an encryption kit installed I believe, as far as the admin password try using administrator and leave the password blank, have seen that work after a pw clear before, good luck

That took care of it. Thanks.

I wonder why I never ran into that before? I've always just used 7654321 in both fields with no problems.
