Canon Image Runner Advance DX C357if wifi issues trying to use a Inseego mifi 3000

Hello, i have a customer that moved into a shared building and wants to connect to the Image Runner advance DX C357if with the Inseego 3000 mifi, wifi hot spot and their 12 laptops and 2 computers.
one person was able to print to the Canon with the cell phone supposedly.
they want to be able to print wirelessly thru the MiFi hot spot to the Canon.

I read up on the inseego site about iPv6 settings and also called Hytec tech support which doesn't have any info on after market accessories.

does anyone have any input on this situation??

i am wondering if they can use a network patch cable from the mifi to the Canon and use iPv4 IP connectability?

thank you for any thoughts of input.

I find direct print is finicky/slow so if printing from a cellphone/tablet, I would recommend using the canon business print app which will work as long as the devices are on the same network.

Not familiar with Inseego but that should work: it was possible with a Telus mobile hub and starlink (though you need an adapter for the starlink). Make sure no ip conflicts. Keep in mind about possible scan issues depending on how it's setup.

A Wifi extender with a network port is good if the copier doesn't have a working wifi board and you're in a pinch.

thank you Radiscar for the info.
i was thinking with the network port, i could hard wire to the extender. but i am reading the security settings and issues on the users manual, and i am wondering if i need to be concerned with setting them up, and then the Canon becoming vulnerable to attack.
i haven't asked if that is a concern for them.

i am trying to find the admin manual so i can see how to set an IP address manually, and then use the web UI console for the Inseego to connect to it.
i wish the machine was close and not in the city. adds more reluctance to deal with it.

      have a great day.
