    Canon NP 6035F

I have serviced this copier a hand-ful of times yet now I'm going to need some help as to whether what the info in Intravias book is actually what is wrong with this copier. The customer called stating that it would not pass a sheet of paper through. What they failed to inform me is that it was giving an error code E065(composite power board or DC controller). The last thing I did to this copier was replace the drum unit. Is the E065 in fact one of theses parts giving the problem. The copy will usually stop right before entering the fuser. The first copies I made had little to no print. the latter copied most of the original. Where are these parts located and how do I determine which one is the problem???
    Thanks!!!

The composite power supply is in the back against the frame(big board) and the dc controller is right in front of it. Odds are it's the composite. Usually you'll see a transfer failure on the copy that gets stuck just past the drum. You could try a cheaper way and replace the transfer roller but I've always had it be the composite.

Not much to add to Brian's post. It's a charge loss situation. It could be a transfer or separation problem, but almost always requires the composite power supply. It's very common on these machines. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I been having the same problem over the last months, I know its the transfer sponge roller worn, because everytime I vacuum it througly the machine works fine a couple of months and then again the same, the customer is reluctant to purchase the transfer unit because he says he's about to sell the business and doesnt want to spend any more money on this (old) machine.

Only the composite power supply.you can get it repaired by some good electronic technician who can go component level.

              something else here...

In addition to the E065 errors, are you getting 0800 jams? I have also seen the vacuum transport (feeder frame) get a crack under the transfer corona in the plastic frame side, causing some droop in the transfer asm. This can cause both the jamming issue and the E065 problem. Check 'er out!
