How to change *.ift for IRxxx

Hi everyone,

I want to change *.ift in folder IRxxx & IRCxxx. But I can't. I want to change new hdd for ir8070 & ir4570. And install new firmware but I can't format new hdd.

Can u suggest me? How can i change *.ift?

If the ift file is encrypted you cannot change it. Canon wants you to buy hard drives from them, that's why they did it.

All firmware has the HD format data file for specific disk's. HD format must be done first in order to flash firmware to the HDD. You do this from the SST. In addition the HDD must also be compatible.

WM2-5216-000 HDD for iR8070
FK2-4907-000 or WM2-5230-000 For iR4570.
