[Error Code] Canon IR C5180 "Default Key Corrupted or Invalid"

I have an image runner IR C5180 with "default key is corrupted or invalid" message. It is a new acquisition to our shop. Had no problem with initial installation and everything works fine but now I am getting the above message. I have attempted to apply other fixes posted in this forum. When I tried to use additional functions>system settings>network settings>tcp/ip settings>certificate settings>, I get as far as the step to have me erase the default key and get the following message: "Cannot delete the default key because it is in use by SSL or other settings. Check the settings". When I go into service mode (Copier>Function>Clear>) I have no option for CA-Key. Does anyone have any suggestions.

    thanks, Chris

    1. Enter service mode * 2 8 * > * 2, for level 2
    2. Copier > Function > Clear > highlight CA Key - press OK.
    3. Power copier off, then back on - Default Key is Corrupt message should clear.

The problem is, as I mentioned before, I do not have the CA Key option in service mode to choose.

          1) Start up your [SERVICE MODE] Level 1
          2) Start-up of level 2 of [SERVICE MODE]
press [*] add function button again. Then, by pressing #2 button on control panel, the screen is displayed.

I was able to get into level 2 service mode and cleared the CA Key. The message is gone. Thank you for your assistance.
