Canon Pixma MP620 multi, problem gears of printhead wiping mechanism

Can anyone provide, or know where I can get a diagram or see a close-up image of the mechanism which wipes the underside of the printhead when it's in its 'parked' position. It's the mechanism which sits beneath the piece which holds the two small ink pads.

With Error B200, I'd just finished cleaning out the ink nozzles & printhead and drawing up some ink from the waste ink area (blotting paper) but then managed to dislodge some part of the wiper mechanism oops which now isn't working properly. The piece holding the two little ink pads, when depressed, gets stuck in the down position and will no longer bounce back up. I'd had to dismantle parts of the printer so as to move the plastic cover of the parking area partly out of my way - that was freightening enough. I'm so annoyed, it was all so close. Desperate times....desperate measures

For info - out of warrantee, service (plus parts) would cost, with no guarantee of solving B200 - Canon support proved unhelpful, have searched & searched the net. Can't afford to buy in a service/ maintenance manual, and I'm not even sure that one exists for this printer or if it would show this area in enough detail.
    Can anyone help....?

      Thanks for that teckat.

Can you / anyone out there help with the wiper mechanism problem ?? The printhead is, or at least may no longer be, the problem.
I don't want to spend out for a new printhead unnecessarily - ie unless I can solve the wiper mechanism issue.

      Here's still hoping....

                  Thanks ever so much,

I've downloaded the pdf and the videos - I too will need to get the VLC media player for the AVIs. I'll then have a bash at fixing the prob! THanks again
