I believe from the Printer Configuration Page you print out.

The C1 has a power switch on the side. I'm pretty sure the C2 does not.

Before attaching an imagePASS-C2, verify that Color imageRUNNER C3220/2620 has software/firmware of the following versions or later:System Software (MN-CONT)
            82.03

The imagePASS-C2 can only be turned ON/OFF using the copier’s main power switch. This feature is made possible by the imagePASS-C2’s PCC PCB.

The Power Control Circuit (PCC) allows the imagePASS-C2’s independent AC Power Supply to be controlled by the copier’s main ON/OFF switch. In order to accomplish this, a signal is sent along the Open Interface Cable from the copier to the imagePASS whenever the copier’s main power switch is turned ON/OFF. The PCC PCB monitors this signal and uses it to determine whether or not power should be sent from the power supply to the motherboard of the imagePASS. The main power switch on the copier will dictate whether or not power is sent to the motherboard of the imagePASS.

In order to turn OFF the imagePASS-C2 (from a full running state), the imagePASS-C2 must first be shutdown via the operation panel of the copier. Then the copier’s main power switch can be turned OFF.
When servicing the imagePASS-C2, it is important to turn OFF the copier’s main power switch (as this will also turn off the imagePASS-C2) and to disconnect the power cable from the imagePASS.
