Canon IR4570 - ShareScan Ecopy software freezes

We have this intermittent fault with the ecopy sharescan software on the Canon IR4570 ..

The user would be performing a action on sharescan (e.g. scanning a document) , then after it completes, it Sharescan screen freezes on the document sent successfully screen. this happen 4 or 5 times a day.

Along the bottom of the Canon copier display it will show Processing data, please wait... however when you click any of the buttons(e.g. Done) the screen doesn't allow you to move to the next screen.

During this time, the user is able to perform other functions on the copier e.g. scanning, printing copying etc, apart from the meap application.

The only way to unfreeze the Sharescan screen is to restart meap services on the copier , which takes about 10mins to complete loading

We are running the ShareScan OP version 4.0.10.14 &

    Java Virtual Machine 01.58.5 MEAP
    Contents 38.01
    MEAP Specifications 5,6,7

    please can someone help

Check the SSOP MEAP Server activity logs (through the admin console) to see what errors are happening with this particular client.

You'll probably have to uninstall the client from the MFD, and reinstall it. There are several steps you have to take in order to do this properly.
I doubt that the copier firmware has anything to do with this, but reflashing the copier to the latest level would be a good idea as well.
Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.
