    How do I change SMTP default port 25 to 587 on canon ir2525? =)

    Service Mode Level 2 > Copier > Option > Body > SMTPTXPN

    You can change the port number as desired.

    This is on page 609 of the service manual.

      to change port settings you Press Additional Settings - System Settings - Network Settings - Press ( TCP/IP Settings )- press the Down Arrow till you come up to Port Number Settings ( under this tab you will see the ports you need to set ). Once you change the port you need to reboot and you should be good to go.

        Changing the port to 587 sounds like it is using SSL. This machine does not support SSL.
        If not SSL but using 587, change it in the service mode switch mentioned above.

          but why do you want to change this port. Kindly explain me. I also want to know the smtp server of gmail (Paid) if you can help me please do so.
