[Electrical] Any idea abou how to service IR 6570 Fixing roller Motor?

Hi any body knows how to service the Fixing roller Motor of IR6570, Because it get fault very soon every time replacing the motor is expensive, This was the second motor which gone in 3 Months, The motor only rotate if i rotate it with my hand?

What is the error code? I doubt the motor is the problem.

Error is 14, I know the motor is the Problem is there any way to rework the motor PCB.

As above. NEVER had to replace one of those motors.

The motor is NOT THE PROBLEM. You have a cracked upper fixing roller. Chances are it is cracked or bent near the front gear. That WILL cause a 14 error! Needs a complete ! Fuser rebuild. There were some early rollers that had problem with cracking. Change lower roller to updated roller. Thermistors and claws. Shutter, check shutter drive shaft for damaged gears on the end. Replace other gear on back end of UFR if it looks old and burnt. It was also an updated part. ( rear shutter gear )

Best thing you can do is pull fuser assembly out of machine, put on a bench and look carefully how it comes apart take pictures if you need to, now look at what is knackered, order parts and rebuild. And/Or buy a manual......... or pay for tech to sort it for you.

Hi,

You have a fixing heavy load. Change the upper bearings and the pressure roller with its bearing (included).

The problem is if remove the motor and turn on the machine, Now there is no load to motor, after some 2 mins the error code 14 appears because the motor doesn't rotating.

Check exactly what SIMONS has posted and replace the Photointerrupter (FK2-0149-000) on the bracket fixed to the lower part of the Upper Fusing Assembly - trust us.

If there is crack in the fixing roller, then there will be no room for shutter to rotate. the error will be 840,Shutter motor rotating error. Pls note it if i remove the fixing motor and keep a side and turn ON the machine the motor is not getting rotate.

Until you pull out the complete upper fixing assembly you ain't gonna know whats causing the problem.

As Rachid.Akli said it is probably the press roll bearings are siezed, i've had 3-4 sheets paper under p/roll causing same code.

TAKE IT out of the machine.

Basic Troubleshooting Rule: ''Never replace a Failed component twice,WITHOUT diagnosing the cause of the fault.'' Usually there is an underlying/hidden fault.
As other techs have already said, I doubt if the fault is with the motor. Most likely heavy load for the motor as Rachi.akli said. Remove the fixing unit out, disassemble it and make careful inspection of components using the senses of 'sight, smell, touch, hear'. These should yield for you something....faulty component.
Go beyond motor substitution, troubleshoot the fault.
