Baby powder use on Cleaning blade...

    Hi guyz...
my new boss is a stingy type person...
i have been told to use baby powder on compatible cleaning blade rather than using the OEM or compatible powder which made for cleaning blade..
i was wondering will this affect the life of drum..
    FYI... drum compatible too... T.T
this drum hit around 20k per drum...
    thinking of resigning soon...

Why not using toner? I wipe with the edge of the new blade the back of the old blade. This collects so much toner on the sharp edge of the new blade that it will slide smoothly over the surface of the drum. I'm doing this since the early Analog days and never ever had a blade flip.

using toner that's enough, by wipe the edge of the new blade with the back of the old blade and working correctly. I'm using this way since long time.

I'd run like hell from that place before they lose their dealership. If they can't put proper parts in the machines they shouldn't be in business, period

                  Not sure what he thinking...
most probably is the cheap price of 3100 at RM900 per unit.
                  Cheap machine but high maintenance.
                  Doom
ny the way... 3220 was not a recommend machine ttoo
T least 3380 is much more better

Like Hans I'd rather see you use toner, even waste toner, rather than baby powder. Ridiculous! =^..^=
