[Error Code] iRC3380 with error code 610-001

Good day guys,

I have 1 unit of Canon iRC3380 when you turn the power ON it will give you error 610-001.

We have change from DC P.C.B, Main controller, HDD and almost all the P.C.B at the rear machine but still face the same problem when you switch ON the machine.

Anyway I have check the service manual mention the faulty from the encryption board. I wonder where is the board located at ? Thanks in advance if you guys have any idea on these problem.

This is an encription error which can be related to the USB I/F pcb - try cleaning the contacts and rebooting the Unit in SAFE Mode 2+8 and wait till the DOWNLOAD Screen displays then turn off & on.

Have tried that method cleaning the contact point and reboot in safe mode but still same problem. I have changed another piece I/F board again repeat the step still same problem.

Any more idea guys ? Got to settle this problem as customer can't use the machine for 1 week already.

Verifying that an LMS Based Printer Kit is Installed on an imageRUNNER

Perform the following steps:

1. Press the [Counter Check] button on the copier control panel.

2. Hit the [Device Configuration] button on the LCD screen.

3. Scroll down through all of the available pages on this Device Configuration screen.
Look to see if Kit is listed

Not sure if u can disable this Security Kit model in Service Mode/
you may need to format the HD and then reinstall the system software.
E610 error code is generally associated to an imageRUNNER equipped with a security kit.

Thank you Teckat for your lead to solved the problem. It was something problem with the LMS issue.
