    E005-0001
error in the fixing cleaning web drive solenoid connection.

Check 12V output at the relay pcb at J511.
Pin 1 should have 2.2V that turns on the 12V power supply and then 12V should be present at J511 pins 3, 4, 5 and 6.

12V goes through the relay pcb to J512 pin 1, this is the remote for the 24V power supply.

With J512 disconnected, pin 1 will read 12V, with J512 connected, should read 2.2V.
If J512 pin 1 remote 2.2V is not present replace the relay pcb (FM4-1086-000).

    If J512 pin 1 remote 2.2V is present and no 24V on J512 pins 3, 4, 5 and 6,
first verify AC is present at the power supply also check the fuse on the power supply, before replacing the 24V right power supply (FM4-5129-000).

Please help, Canon iR6570 with error code E005-001, Cleaning web not ending (still half). I reset : Counter-Misc-FixWeb and Counter-Drbl1-FixWeb the error code not dissapear ! I already replace Photosensor for web, replace DC Controler PCB, fixing heater power supply PCB together with potential control PCB and exchange with full system fixing unit, the problem same. At the first time power on there is no sound of motor rotation and then.

            Re: E005-001

When powering unit on the error code would come up. Info screen suggests to check web solenoid SL9 for an open circuit. This was not the problem and may lead the tech off course causing them to replace several parts that did not resolve the problem. If you enter I/O mode screen P007 bit 9 a 1 states that it is not driving or connected. It did display a 1 and looking down below SL10 also was a 1. This leads to a totally different area in the machine. The problem is that there is no 24VDC going to SL9 and not due to an open circuit.

            Cause
The problem came down to the right door interlock not making the microswitches, the photo-interrupter was blocked thus not showing door open but 24VDC was not passing thru the switches.

            Action
            Realigning the switches corrected problem.
            ..

For canonbundy, I finished check your advise carefully, there is not wrong position or alignment, so the problem not solved! For teckat, where is relay pcb location? I see the service manual, list of pcb, which pcb of relay pcb?

Hi there, any resolution to this? having the same exact issue. rebuilt fuser and following day this code appeared. Fuser swapped to identical machine and is running fine. clearly a machine fault. Any feedback would be helpful. Thanks!

Resolved. Was a blown fuse (FU3) on the Main Driver PCB, thanks to Canon tech support for the additional check for this.
Likely was due to pinched wire for web solenoid when the front fuser cover was put on. Didn't happen for a day but wires were mashed. Plastic wire harness holder had long fallen off.

New board and up and running.
