Imagerunner 3245 compatibility

I am supposed to install an iR3245 that I have into a customers office next week, but just got this email from their IT guy...

Anybody know what he is meaning? I'm not for sure. Sounds like he is wanting to print using an HPLJ5 Driver???

he must mean> will iR3245 support the HP's Universal Print Driver (UPD) The UPD, is available in 32 and 64 bit packages, is a single driver that supports PCL5, PCL6, and HP PostScript; Level 2 and 3 emulation.

don't think it's possible as u can see below

They use some program called Streamline? anyway he sent me this from their program provider: He said it was a patch they sent him. The way I read it, if they install the patch in their system, they would be able to print to almost any device as it converts it to pdf......I think.

i have this type of machine iR 3245 but i try to print using UFRII driver is not working as per to the specifiaction stated that having standard PPD of UFRII.

any advice on this? machine is from europian region.

1-are u connected to a PC or MAC ?
2-are u connected to a TCP/IP network/ AppleTalk ?
3-connected via USB ??

You can confirm what printer driver(s) you can use by following the procedure below.
1. Press (Counter Check) on the touch panel display.
2. In the Counter Check screen, press [Device Configuration].
3. Confirm the printer driver name displayed under [Option].

Remote UI = can u see your printer > type printers I/P into browser
