Direct print and scan for mobile Setup for ir Advance or Imagerunner experience

A direct connection is needed via VPN or WIFI. Does that mean we HAVE TO use the Wireless bridge hardware in the Canon or is the wireless router enough. The wireless Bridge hardware is not expensive but I wanted to make sure. I know direct print or the postscript kit needs to be installed. Thanks for helping with this 2200 5200 series newbie question.

you can install Canon mobile printing app, you can print with any Canon IR, you have to connect your mobile with the WIFI mode in the network of the customer....and it is free...
