I am trying to access my imagePRESS C1 and ir6570 through Remote Operation viewer v1.2, but neither connects. But I am able to ping both the MFPs and also able to access its pages using its IP address. What could be the issue? Remote UI is also enabled in the machines.

Make sure that port 5900 (VNC), is open on the imagePASS.

In order to facilitate this, go into the "Network" setup menu of your imagePASS controller and select the "Ports" option listed under "Security".

Enable port 5900 as outlined below.





is Remote Operator Kit installed on iR6570 & iPRC1 both need the Kit activated to use Viewer

When trying to connect to an imageRUNNER that has the Remote Operator Kit installed with the Remote Operation Viewer application, you may run into the following message:

--Could not connect to the device at the specified IP address.


On the imageRUNNER, check the following setting:

1. Press Additional Functions.
2. Hit System Settings.
3. Scroll down and select Remote Operation Settings.
4. Enable this option and enter a password to authenticate the remote connection.

After this option is enabled, reboot the copier and try to access the imageRUNNER again. In the Remote Operator Viewer application enter the password which was set in step 4 above.

This mode enables you to use the Remote UI (User Interface) to operate the machine and change settings.

Press (Settings/Registration).

Press [Management Settings] → [License/Other] → [Remote UI].

Press [On] → specify each setting.
If a screen prompting you to change a System Manager PIN is displayed, change a PIN by following the procedures described in "Specifying the System Manager Settings," and then set this function to 'On'.
Press [Off] → [OK] to disable setting the machine from the Remote UI.
Press [On] for <Use SSL> to use SSL communication.
Select [On] for <Use Reference Print> to allow printing by entering it URL.

NOTE

Before setting <Use SSL> to 'On', it is necessary to set a default key in [Preferences] (Settings/Registration). (See "Setting the Key Pair Used With SSL Encrypted Communications.") Any changes made to <Use SSL> are also applied to [Use SSL] in [MEAP Settings] in [Management Settings] (Settings/Registration). (See "MEAP Settings.")

When the login service is set to Default Authentication and [Department ID Management] is set to 'Off' but the System Manger ID is specified：

but are you sure that in IRADV 6275 the remote operator is by default and not an option?
check:
press counter> device information>check device configuration> and read if the Remote operator appears among the options present
