bizhub c360 solid orange light - no print or copy

I inherited a KM bizhub c360. It was working well until an IT guy was having network issues with it, so he "tinkered" with it. Don't know all of what he did other than resetting the HDD. Now it turns on, indicator light blinks orange, then stays solid. Will not copy or print. No error codes on main screen or in service mode. How do I figure out what is wrong? Have new toner; looks like it might need some cleaning also. Have also done trouble reset; it did not clear the error. Thanks in advance!

enter service mode and press stop>0>C and check that DC/DevC Lifestop is set to not stop. If in his tinkering he initialized machine that would unset HDD and cause it to have to be turned back on as well as set life stop back to stop, I believe not 100% sure its been a few years since I've seen one of these

I've had this happen with several C-360 series machines.. it turns out that even though the machine is set to go PAST the Drum life (with the proper F/W), the machine will eventually stop, and not error out. I don't believe it even shows a wrench on the display or anything else. My machines simply required a new Black drum (or any of the Color drums) to reset the logic and allow it to continue. Of course, it may be something like the HDD is turned off in SM as stated above. But it was an oddity that it didn't alert me any other way and the Drum(s) were just end of life.

Check IP filtering too. Perhaps he turned it on accidentally. But it does sound like end of life situation on consumables.

Agree with others, it's most likely one or more consumables are end of life and machine is locked out. If quality is still good get some reset chips for drums, developer units. If fuser or transfer belt these can be reset in service mode without anything.

Thanks everyone - took a few days before I could get back to this unit.
            1. DC/DevC Lifestop - checked, it was set to stop.
            2. Drums are probably due; as you mentioned - same here, no wrench or notification on them.
            3. Checked IP filtering - all good there.
            4. I'll look into the chips - good call
I really appreciate you all, you've helped me so much!
