Forgotten admin password / factory reset Konica bizhub C3120i

Hello everyone, I hope someone will have the solution to my problem.

I have had a Konica C3120i printer since June 2024. No problem with it so far.

I set it all up from the administrator interface with the "admin" login and I changed the default password which is the serial number.

Problem: for several weeks, I have been unable to connect to the administrator interface even though I have not changed anything. I always have the message "The username or password is incorrect" and after 5 connection attempts, I have to turn it off and on again each time.

Admin login and password, it does not want to.
Admin login and default password (serial number), it does not want to.
I also tried with my administrator name, email address in login, nothing works.

When I turned it on, I held down both buttons to enter the "Special Boot Menu", I pressed "Password initialize" and nothing either.

Does anyone have a solution to reset the administrator password?

I contacted Konica, the price asked to intervene is more than 50% of the new machine even though it is not 1 year old.

    Thank you for your feedback.

Can you post a picture of this "Special Boot Menu"?

cant you go into service mode. stop-9 and change the admin password there like normal?
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
      The medication helps though...

Well... forget about it just opened manual. It's not usual KM stuff there so no way as we did. We had zero of these in the field.

            Hello,
this model (bizhub C3120i) doesn`t look like konica minolta. - It could be developed by lexmark. - In that case you'll (could) find a jumper on "mainboard" to reset settings.

No warranty! But have a look at this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nXs9x-KZWhM

            best regards,
            Ro

              Hello,
There is no button or jumper on the mainboard.
              Regards.
