Bizhub 206- PAPER JAM OPEN 1ST SIDE COVER

Hi guys,

I have this Bizhub 206 which have been displaying this "JAM ERROR OPEN 1st SIDE DOOR" when machine boot up.

I have open the side cover door, no paper jam.

Pulled out the 1st paper tray, checked and cleaned the lift up motor and the sensors.
Uninstalled the imaging unit, vacuum and cleaned spilled devs.
Did visual checks on the uninstalled fuser unit and it looks okay.
Uninstalled the duplex unit, checked and cleaned the sensors.

Installed every thing back, boot up the machine. The issue still persist. "JAM ERROR OPEN 1st SIDE DOOR" keeps on popping up.

Is there any possible way I could reset the JAM ERROR.

You are dealing with either a bad sensor or a broken/non-returned sensor lever.
There are just 2 points to check.
1.st sensor is just before registration roller. You'll have to remove IU to gain access (one screw).
2.nd in on fusing unit. For testing purposes, it's faster to check if you replace whole unit.

Basically you need one sensor if none of levers are broken.

Older bizhub 185 and 215 serie have often problem with fusing sensor actuator jamming from my experience, it stay stuck in lower position although paper is not there, you can check that also.
