Newbie Here, where can I find paid training sessions?

    Hello all ,
I have a print shop, where I have C8000, C1060, C1070, 2 x C1100 Black, C954.. I would like to inquire where I can find online training or courses on maintenance and changing parts on these type of machines. I dont mind if it is paid.

Your best bet is probably to get a manual and dig in. Training courses are for techs that work for an authorized dealer. Good luck.

PS - Any questions you have about working on a copier can be answered by one of the knowledgeable techs on this site. Lord knows I asked a million questions.

It's too bad that you're not closer. I think I might enjoy such a task. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

There are quite a few Youtube Videos out there. Maybe not for your exact machine but if you are not left handed and have some technical understanding i recon you can do much of it yourselve. Takes some time of course.

Do you recommend a channel other than Just a Printer?

I do not recommend any channel because every channel has like 1-2 good videos but 20 bad ones.

Get ready to cost yourself a ton of money. It took me 5 years of full time work to feel confident on the production machines in high stakes environments.
Pay for a technician. The machines you have is worth that.
                    Whatever

Oi....I'm left handed , and the weird thing is, I've worked with more techs that are left handed, than those that were right handed

It's hard enough to get training for the smaller segment models but production models would be impossible unless an authorized dealer. And even at that K/M would not allow a newbie to attend production model training without other prior training.
Like other poster suggested get the service manuals and ask questions on this forum.

It would help if you make a small contribution to this website to help keep it going. The website is a great "tool" to have.

I am actually left handed, and just about every tech I've worked with has been left handed, which isn't always easy, when a machine is developed for a right handed person - I refer to people as "cackhanded"

Then there are the ambidextrous that only develop the skill to successfully distinguish left from right in there 20's. True story.
