    [Misc] konica C458 message

    Hello, when copying and scanning from document feeder or on the glass I get a message "failed to complete job. Please check job history" it comes and goes. Some times after trying on glass or through feeder a dozen times it will finally work. Even after rebooting machine same issue occurs, its random! Trying Scan to email same issue. No scan to pc is setup. Once problem goes away copying and scanning work fine. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

    Did you look at the scan history? Usually there is a code that gives a clue as to why it failed. =^..^=
    If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

        I receved "Error code 0" when from remote a try to scan an empty glass with "remove blank page" enabled.

          yep, looks like "blank page removal" is set as default - the machine is doing what its asked
          Tip for the day; Treat every problem as your dog would.....If you cant eat it or f*ck it....then p*ss on it & walk away...

            The entire job should not delete unless it's all made up of blank pages..I see that you are using authentication. I would double check what is or is not allowed..Maybe you have full color scanning restricted for a user..E

              Try system error clear from service mode. If anything else fails backup settings and do Clear All Data.
