I encounter an error code D011 on my C258.


Could you help me to solve this problem?


Maybe do a firmware update?

extract it, put only the fw0000xx folder in the root of a 4 gb flash drive.
plug into front usb power on wth main switch while holding the stop button.
when a dot appears let go of button and fw will start in a min.

movie data is just the single extracted .tar file on the root of the flash drive a and installed in service mode, system 2, 2nd page "install data"
put the usb in the front port, wait until 'set' appears hit it and hit start.

do you want a service manual? sounds like one would be handy to have.

check the harddrive in the back is connected properly and is enabled (set) in service mode.
look it up in the manual you have.

You need SATA recovery firmware for the C-D011 error.

Please look at bulletin #10072 10/2/16 with procedure on how to prevent/fix this code

Looks lite the sata firmware is already updated, you can try the recovery firmware GXX-A8, but that code says the HDD is not formatted, so step 1, check all hdd connectors, step 2 in service mode try logical format, if error still occurs, try a new harddrive.
