C1060 Error code- C4641

hello,

I become a technician for my C1060 because Konica does not want to take care of it anymore ...
They say she is too old!

So I call it to help it out.
This morning I have a code C-4641 which appears after having a C-4631
I turned off the machine twice so that it redesign.

Can you explain these error codes to me tell me how to correct the problem if it starts again?

I think I would start with (4) primary transfer rollers, the transfer belt, and a transfer cleaning assembly.

I must warn you, though, that this is not a job I would send an amateur to do. If it's your first time changing a transfer belt, there's a 50/50 chance the new belt will be noticeably damaged by the time you get it re-assembled. =^..^=

I don't think the belt has a problem, The machine has printed properly so far.

There I have a code C-2811 which corrects a problem on the yellow drum.
I neatyed the sensor as indicated on YouTube video and the machine restarted for 30 minutes before redoing the same code C-2811

I must say that I bought yellow toner in China before putting a original Konica yellow cartridge 3 days ago.
I just have to change the drum or also the development unit and the development?

The drum is easy but the developer I don't know how to do it.

yeah the moment you put unknown aftermarket towner in the machine and you encounter a series of different error codes ou can pretty much call the machine dead. Aftermarket Toner will eventually fuck with the drum, developer, transfer belt and fusing unit.

Whenever i hear from someone who puts cheap aftermarket toner in the machine that is not approved by the manufacturer, i refuse to work more on the machine and will only replace full parts

You need to run all the generic toner out of the DV unit and hope that it comes back to life.

The toner worked well, I also put a Magenta cartridge and I had no problem with that.

The C-2811 code arrived only today after I gave a yellow Konica cartridge three days ago! (I had kept a Konica cartridge for safety ...)

I can change the yellow drum, change the development unit, drain and put Konica developer, But I need to be guided and I try to find out what to do best because in France the pieces are very expensive.

I specify that it is my work tools ... and that I have customers who wait for this machine to curb.

You need to run all the generic toner out of the DV unit and hope that it comes back to life.

And atleast on 4/8 series you also might want to drain the drum unit and toner transport from transfer belt to avoid clogging up. Not too sure how the c1060 is build in that regard but i somehow have a bad feeling with aftermarket toner

Cheap toner will sometimes appear to work for a while but will eventually cause problems. You're playing Russian Roulette. I know of 2 companies that sell good generic toner out of about a thousand. What brand of after market toner did you purchase?

Abort. Don't ever use that toner again. It's crap.

Install an OEM cart. and run a bunch of solid pages of that color and see if the image improves. Also, follow what techsxge said.

To be blunt, you'll probably come out ahead by calling a trained tech. to fix your problem. And OEM cartridge = Original Equipment Manufacturer.

literally had a customer with a scratched drum core, flooded developer and messed up transfer belt once. Turned out he used aftermarket toners the past half year. Note that the machine had brand new party and had done around 150k at the time

sorry but i'm in France,

and in France we have just Konica tech, nothing else...

I no longer have a maintenance contract because my machine is too old ...
and that's why I have to manage on my own ...
But I know how to use the tools and I can do it if someone drives me ...
