    Konica C450i Account Track

    Hi everyone,

    I have a Konica C450i that I am trying to enable Account Track on. I can enable it and choose for the copier to use "Password Only". I then put that information into the printer driver on the PC. Whenever I try to print, the copier receives the job and then deletes it due to "Login Error". I have verified multiple times that I am setting up Account Track correctly (and I have done it on other Konica machines with no issue).

    I am not sure how to resolve this issue or if anyone else has had this issue before. Any advice would be appreciated.

    Make sure you have the correct driver for the model you are working on, in my experience it will never go through unless that is correct.

        The driver software file for c360i should have the c450i driver also. You might want to use the setup 64 file so it can find and pick the right one. If you have to install through windows print and scan install the c650i driver and then manually change to c450i on printer properties menu drop down box.

          Had a similar issue on a C450i. Could not get secure print to work. First it was because IT installed a B450i driver, but even after installing the correct driver it still didn't work. You need to use the C650i Series driver. We tried everything, including a data clear and still it didn't work. Then we saw that on PSWC it showed a generic 45 ppm machine instead of Bizhub C450i. Checked software switch 10 and it was set to Hex 02 correctly. What we ended up doing was setting SW10 to hex 00, fix and reboot, then set it back to hex 02. After that everything worked properly for us. Just a note of caution, changing this switch will reset all network settings.

              Make sure the firmware is at P8 and function level is 2.2

                  As others have said check you have the correct driver install also update the firmware & function version to 2.2. (SW25 HEX 3.0)

                    so you definitely have your password entered and verified under 'printing preferences - basic - output method - account track'?

                      conf.jpgYou have to choose the right model under settings in the configure tab or it won't work.

                        HuronMan, I don't see the Model device option on my end 🤔

                            That's because you are using the device specific drivers. You can pick a different model on the universal ones. It will show the current driver installed on the advanced tab.
