              can this be elaborated on? is it best to load firmware upgrade with USB, or browser for a tech that is more old school? (old school)))

                  It's a bit misleading but he requested specific type of firmware not method to do it.
                  Most of us do firmware updates with USB. I know it's 21 century but KM are soooo way back with softwares.
                  There are other ways but not easy for Indy. PM me for firmware you need.

                      i prefer usb method for firmware even when other brands offer web browser method. i just trust it more

                          I always use USB method seems work all time, I use 2Gb pen drive formatted to fat 32.

                                  although there are certified bigger drives (very few) a 4Gb or smaller flash drive is required.
                                  We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
