Bizhub press 1250 display screen is reversed

Hi guys ,

we have a strange issue, when we start the machine the screen is reversed 180 degree , head is down, what is the reason about that issue? Also i noticed that touch screen is not ok, like not good calibration. You must touch the screen 4-5 mm down to touch what you need.

I've seen failed displays like this. Also mirror image or upside-down.

On one occasion a special-ed kid got the idea he was going to tear off the display. He was not successful. He did do significant damage (no ... not covered by the service agreement), and I had wished that I had ordered the whole articulating arm, because I was not as successful at straightening it as I would have liked, and it's not cheap. =^..^=

Have you opened and reseated what can be reseated on the display?
Lucky enough not to have had that before.

yes , we reconnect lamp cable , video cable and touch screen lens cable.

There are 2 different displays for the 951, 1052, 1250 machines. If the wrong type is installed, you will get the inverted screen.

Makes sense. The screen attributes probably differs between models.

It is correct display attached, seems touch screen make a problem , we disconnect it for now and using PC mouse till we find a spare touch screen

Screen from one 951, installed on another 951. Plugged right in too as the connectors are the same.

They made a change to these somewhere along the line.

What is the difference between 2 types ? How can we recognize it ?

There are different colored wires visible on the back of the panel on original vs replacement.

The serial number on the back will also have a different first 5 digits.
