Develop ineo/Bizhub series IU FAULTS.

We do the Develop ineo 203 253 353 451 550 650 series. (think bizhub is the same numbers)

Is anyone else out there having problems with the I U's(black and col). They just dont seem to last as long as they should.Either gives u a code a you get poor copies.Just all sorts of problems.

Im not asking really for a solution, just want to know if were the only ones whos having these problems.

as we are a dealer for Develop, we have loads of these machines in the field, and constantly get probs with the IU'S.
They say no one else is having the issues, so just want to know if any one else is

We have not experienced any real issues, in fact we are getting good extra life with chip resetting. Keep in mind the IU's wear out with age as well as use anything over 2 years old you might expect to start having issues with.

Last year I've used Develop Imaging units in Minolta Bizhub C250. The price was good ( 15%-20 "discount" raported to the price of Minolta) but the quality was ... .
So my advise use the original Minolta IU and you will see.

Minolta and develop are identical. I have a lot of problems with both of them, in c550 series.

The C451/550/650 are really bad about killing black IUs early. KMBS just released a mod thats supposed to help with this problem.
