    Copystar is Kyocera?

Hi, Is Copystar part of Kyocera? I've heard of Kyocera printers for many years but recently had someone quote a price on a Copystar. Just trying to understand the difference/relationship between Kyocera and Copystar. Thanks, padre

From what I can tell, they are one and the same.

Copy Star is another part of Kyocera. Not all toner is interchangable between the two. Each has its own supplies.

Yup, that's about it. back in the day the features were a little different but for the past few generations of machines everything is the same except the toner cartridge and the name on the front door.

Copystar MFP's less then 30 PPM are also available via a "distribution chanel" in the US and Kyocera MFP's are strictly dealer based.

The print drivers are slightly different also. If you load a Kyocera driver to a Copystar, or a Copystar driver to a Kyocera you lose some of the functionality including the Auto Configure function. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
            1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
            2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
            3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
            4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
            5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
