    km4050 manufacture date

    Hi,
This is my first thread, and my question is about the serial number on the machine, and can you tell the manufacture date from the serial number. We can do this with our Toshiba copiers very easily, but Im not sure on the 4050. Any help?
    Thanks

I know what you're talking about, Samsung does the same thing. I can't find any reference to it in the manuals I have though. Why is manufacture date important? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

As far as I know, 4050 and 5050 are still available as new. Only the 3050 was discontinued ~5 months ago to be replaced by the Stratos line. I know that this doesn't help you. Maybe someone else here can help? =^..^=

The above is NOT TRUE for Kyocera products, The manufacture date is stamped/printed on the serial number plate on the side or back of the machine.
