    [Error Code] CF000

Thank you copytech for creating this forum. My Kyocerra ECOSYS M2035dn is displaying the above error oftenly. What could be the problem and how do i fix it?

    Re: CF000

There is no CF000 code listed anywhere in the service manual or on Astea for this model. The closest match is F000. A printing issue causing this code was corrected with firmware in 2016 so this is not highly likely the problem.
The next cause for an F000 is Control PWB - Operation panel PWB communication error.
    1) Harness (check all connectors),
    2) bad op panel
    3) bad control PWB.

And yes, update firmware to latest.

You didn't tell us if the code happened during printing , copying or both... But I would guess it's during printing, so make sure they are using the newest drivers and delete all old driver versions . Also , as mentioned, newest firmware is a must and even if it has the newest, reflash with the full version.

With a weird error like that I assume you disconnected the Network cable and or / usb and power cycled the machine? That is an easy way to see if you have a corrupt print job causing the error. If the machine comes to ready, watch what happens when you plug in the network cable

yes, CF000 = F000. Same code. I haven't seen it on these newer models, but on FalconIII and Stratos it was caused by a communication error between the op panel and controller PWB. The actual causes in the past have been:

          Controller EEPROM
          Op Panel EEPROM
          Controller Board
          Op Panel PWB
          Harnesses
          Firmware
          Print Data Errors

... in that order. I usually address multiple concerns like this on a cost basis. What's the cheapest?:
          Firmware
then Print Data Errors (connect the MFP via crossover to your laptop then see if the errors occur).
          Harness
          EEPROM (+ firmware, of course)
          EEPROM (+ firmware, of course)
Op Panel (+ firmware, of course)
Controller PWB (+ firmware, or course).

There's nothing really new to this post, but it's organized in a way that may make sense to you. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

            Thank you for your concern,

The above error code appears during starting up of the printer such that it fails to display the icons on the screen menu.
