    Good Lord.

I just downloaded the latest windows 10 update on my computer and I got BSOD. Not when I tried to print, but windows wouldn't even load. I had to disconnect every accessory (hard drive, 2nd monitor, ect.) and finally got the computer to boot. This is a fucking major problem.

Simply uninstalling windows update kb:5000802 and kb:5000808 fixed my PC this morning. I believe the official Kyocera bulletin appears earlier in this thread. It took me 15minutes ... so it must be easy.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I've done that at a couple of customers office where it was a printer problem. On my personal PC, the BSOD had nothing to do with printing. Upon installing the update, Windows 10 would not boot. I read an article that said to unplug all accessories, which I did, then it booted up and I was able to uninstall the updates.

Microsoft did NOT pull the update as reported by Kyocera. They must have lied to Kyocera.

I had several customers call in this morning who uninstalled the update last week. They were able to successfully print until this morning when Microsoft re-downloaded and re-installed the security update.

          WOW!

Re: BSOD when printing to Kyocera from Win 10

There's a new Kyocera bulletin that Microsoft Update kb:5000802 & kb:5000808 may remain in the downloads folder, and re-load itself at the first opportunity. I have yet to check this on my PC, but yes, have removed kb:5000802 ... twice.

            1. Open File Explorer. 2. Go to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download, and delete all contents.

There were two folders and 9 update files on my PC.

Quick Update: I uninstalled the latest updates on my computer and deleted the files as per blackcat's instructions. It didn't work. The next time I restarted my computer the updates installed and got the BSOD again. I'm about to try KYO's solution.

Pause updates, default is 7 days hopefully Microsoft has it fixed by then.

Billy you need to Pause the updates for about 7 days other wise they will just install again. Maybe in a week MS will fix this, if not just pause it again before the 7 days is up.

Can confirm, installed update KB5001567 without removing KB5000802 and issue is gone.

This solved the problem for me. I didn't uninstall KB5000802 and KB5000808 but did install KB5001567 + KB5001566 and everything works beautifully. Thanks KYO.

Also if you run the Windows 20H2 update and restart and then it finds the KB5001567 fix and installs it. Printing OK.
