    4012i duplex only jamming J4211, J421x

    I have a 4012i that is duplex only jamming J4211, J421x single sided works fine
    It will duplex jam out of every cassette and bypass
    I did find a QA bulletin 2V6-0014 (J101) on the issue. I installed that and still having the issue. I also replaced the conveying unit, right side door DR6115 drive unit, fuser

      I would check out the exit assembly. If the feed rollers have become contaminated or dried out, it could cause enough of a slip in feeding the paper back into the unit on duplex to cause a timing problem where the machine sees the page not exiting within the timing window. The 42xx code indicates the machine is still seeing a page at the exit sensor when the timing window closes. Worth a look.

              Not on this model ... but all my references to 4211 jams are associated with the fuser. How new is that fuser? =^..^=
              If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
              5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

                  If you replaced the fuser, the exit unit, the drive unit, the entire right side door and it's still jamming. I'd start cutting wire ties.
