    Kyocera TA3501i Error Code F46F

Good day everyone. I am working on the Kyocera TA3501i. The machine touch screen was stuck on WELCOME. I tried reloading the Firmware and replacing the HDD but that didn't work. I installed a used Main Board and WELCOME went away, however when I try to make a copy the error code F46F comes up. If I try to print an internal job, its doesn't print. I can cancel the job but the screen stays on the CANCELLING screen. I power off and on the machine and it registers a Paper misfeed. Any suggestions?

I've not attempted to install a used Main PWB for fear of data corruption from the HDD. Data from two different machines. Were you able to perform a U026 to restore backup data from the HDD?

Have you upgraded the firmware after doing the main board? After firmware you could try doing U021 and U024 and bring the machine back to factory defaults.

I reloaded the Firmware yesterday. I plan to return with the latest firmware tomorrow, God spares life.

          I also ran U021 but not U024

Good day. I uploaded the firmware, ran U021 and U024. Unfortunately the machine still doesn't work.

Component: CreateBox (Memory Tx). Category: ImageProcess. Crucial (no memory, invalid parameter, etc.). 1) Power Off/On, if re-occurs 2) HDD Initial in system menu (System Menu, Adjustment/Maintenance, System Initialization). Power Off/On, if re-occurs 3) Reformat HDD (Status, 10871087, 024, Start, Execute, Start). Power Off/On, if re-occurs 4) Repl HDD.

I think I'd replace the hard drive. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
              5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

What about replacing the memory ? IIRC there is 1-2gb RAM installed.
Also, what's the jam code you get ? There are some codes that relate to image processing, etc.
                  Hope that helps !

But did you replace the HDD AFTER you swapped the Main PWB? Could have been the HDD was bad because of the main board blowing it out. Rare, but I've had it 2 or 3 times with different components.

I had a 4004 stump me because of a faulty SATA cable. I don't remember what the code was but I went through most of the steps above before changing it.

I swapped the HDD before replacing the main board.

If I am not mistaken, my original issue was a C0640 error. I swapped the HDD first then both cables. The problem remained. After swapping the HDD and cable, I replaced the main board and the machine came up. A few days later the customer said the display was stuck on WELCOME. WELCOME came up after a power outage. I tried to reload the software but the screen never moved from WELCOME. I installed another HDD and a main board always remembering to swap the EPROM. The machine came up. The touch screen however was not as clear. There were fine lines going through the screen. The machine comes to ready but when I go to make a copy, nothing happens. The screen changes like its going to copy but it never copies. When I try to print the STATUS REPORT, I get the error code F46F .
