I have to look at another one of these products with a broken side guide on the document feeder.(adjustable guide for placing originals to scan)
Do you have to remove the rear cover of the DF to remove the table assembly to change this guide? Seems simple enough but I haven't done before. IMG_0349.jpg

Front and rear covers unclip. The guide plate will then come out by bending front and rear main assembly out a bit.
