    Ecosys p2040dw / dk 1150

    Hello Everybody!

I have an Issue with the dk 1150 drums. After printing around 20k, the cleaning unit agitators starts to wear out, this happens using oem and non oem toner. When this happens sometimes a stain appears and repeats itself as a drum length pattern.
Did anyone else had this problem?
    Thanks

Any special media in use? Glossy? NCR? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Bond. It appears to happen when the printer is under heavy use, like 500 pages in a row.

From your example you may have a fuser problem not a drum problem especially since you state that it occurs on larger print jobs. As the fuser heats up the sliding sheets for the fuser film maybe are coming detached slowing the film causing the smudges.
