Kyocera Taskalfa 2552ci "maintenance front cover open"

I removed the main drive unit to clean the waste toner auger, due to noise, I followed the manual to the letter.
When I turn the printer on it gives me the message " close maintenance front cover" and point toward the front lower cover.
The cover is closed fine even if I activate the switch manually the message stays on.
Does this cover has more then one switch, beside the one on the right side?
Did you experience problems with this switch? To get to it do I have to take the front panel off or the right side?
I did check all the connectors on the main drive unit board, all are plugged and look fine.
    Thanks

Reseat all of the connectors on the image drive board on the lefthand side as you look from the rear of the machine, common problem, the ones you had to undo to do the job.

    Good luck.. 👍

I would assume it was something you did to cause the issue. There was a bulletin however, changing the shape of the interlock switch holder and the arm the pushes it on the right side door.
      Hope that helps !

        Thanks for the reply.
If you are referring to the lower left board I did removed and inspect the connectors more then once, but I'll go there tomorrow and triple check it.

This error can be a nightmare.
On Iris2020 (xx54 series) we have had developer motor for BK breaks down the power circuit!
Disconnect the motors on the feed image pwb and check if front cover message is still present, or if you get C2xxx error.
in case of C2xxx, change main drive unit, in case of front cover message, check bulletin.
Front cover switch you can measure by feed image pwb/ YC6/ A10

Got that couple times with the 1 series TA's, it was the power source PWB. Sounds crazy but that's what it was.

Conclusion: I replace the Image Drive PWB and the problem was solved.

Thanks you all for your replies.
