[Electrical] Kyocera TASKalfa 6003i Light Prints

    Good Morning.

I have a machine that is printing light. I have done the following:

    Updated Firmware
Stripped and cleaned all springs that make contact with the HV PWB
Checked and cleaned Secondary Transfer Roller.
    Changed the paper.
    Replaced DK and DV.
    Replaced HV PWB.

As per Manual it states it could be Engine PWB. I would like a second opinion?

    Kind Regards

      Are you using OEM toner?

It has been awhile, but I remember getting in a used CS 4002i having similar issues. We did like you and tried just about everything. Ultimately, replacing the engine board corrected the issue for us. I would definitely give it a try if you haven't already. Good luck!

can you mark the developer and confirm that it is being rotated?

Also, make sure to go through all the screws on the power supply board for tightness. I've had a lot of issues with loose screws upsetting the power supply ground connection and popping downstream boards with bad output.

Have you emergency stopped the machine and checked the latent image on the drum and primary transfer belt? That will tell you at what point you're losing your HV. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
              5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
